The answer is a conditional yes depending on what you are trying to do.

Check out this thread...

KissInColor uses layer stacking to combine bfb files.  The program was originally intended for multi-color parts.  But it will also work for different style parameters.  For instance you could make the first 5mm using .25mm layer thickness and three loops.  Then the next 3mm using .125mm layer thickness and 4 loops and so on.

Two different objects side by side with different colors or parameters requires layer interleaving.  I was going to do that next but there is very little user interest in it.  Plus the Cura developer is starting to look at supporting bfb machines which will handle that function.
