OK, Kisslicer is cool. I just paid for it. You're awesome.

I bought a Cubex Duo that I wanted to kill. I've had months of issues, and Cubify kept sending me new parts to replace. In the end though it was their crappy software. Using Kisslicer has yielded more results in one day that I've had in months, and precisely because it lets me control the head temperatures and speeds and such that the Cubex software won't let you touch. I'm sure I'll need some help on the forum because there's a lot to learn, but just reading the guide I found in the forum and playing around a bit, I'm already on my way to tweaking the settings so this thing will actually work.

Thanks!

Fantastic news, Same story.  What are 3D systems thinking. Why they created the software that does nothing.  Axon was better. How did they ever expect there machines to be successful.
What is a matter with that company,
They created a race horse and shot it in the leg.

I am surprised that 3DSystems hasn't tried to buy out KISSlicer:) or have they???  If they haven't, they are either dumb, ignorant, or intentionally giving us CubeX users crap software.

Me too. They even sent me new parts because they were sure it was the jet or the extruder, but it turns out their software is crap. The machine has a few issues too, but their software and documentation are crap. Who's the guy on the forum here, some college student that wrote the manual for Kisslicer? His documentation is way better than the nonsense that came with the cube. On three occasions now 3D systems has sent me a powerpoint presentation to help me with stuff that isn't in the manual or their website.

Sounds like they need a product manager.

Sounds like they should stop being so greedy and start thinking about improving the 3d printing industry Not trying to milk it

Me Too. you gotta love bypassing all that Cubex proprietary crap.  My best advise, tweak 1 setting at a time then simple cylinder print to see results.
Happy printing.

"Democratizing 3D Printing For Everyone". Yeah, right. Corporate Bullspeak at it finest. Who coined "democratizing" anyway? There are some words I hate right off the bat.
