Saving your Work
When using the software, you can save a working draft of your project into an .akvis file which contains the original image, the state of the image at the moment it was saved with all its parameters and settings, and, in the Deluxe/Business versions, any manually created checkpoints which where added during your work. This very helpful feature is highly appreciated by professionals.

(L. Davenport, Silicon Mountain Macintosh Users Group, smmug.org, 11/2021)AliveColors is a photo editing program that also has a full set of painting and drawing tools. It provides tools for retouching, drawing, and vector graphics, photo enhancement adjustments, and a gallery of striking filters. AliveColors supports multi-monitor systems and lets you work with multiple images and at the same time switching between them as needed. It has been designed to support the needs and user levels from the beginner to the pro user. The new AliveColors 4 version is now available. It introduces the new AI neural filters for fast and high-quality image processing: JPEG Artifact Remover and Motion Deblur. The JPEG Artifact Remover filter uses machine learning algorithms to remove JPEG artifacts and reduce pixelation. The Motion Deblur filter fixes camera shake and motion blur problems. The update also offers a new color retouching tool - the Tuning Brush. It is intended for tonal corrections and allows users to slightly change the colors of an object, add shades, midtones, smooth creases, folds, and wrinkles, get rid of odd tones or unnecessary details. Evaluation: AliveColors is full of editing tools which artists will find useful. The new Tuning Brush and the AI Filters are a nice addition to the AliveColors program. BTW: If you bought all 10 of the built-in plugins separately, they would cost around $566! So you can see that buying the AliveColors Pro version (that includes all 10 plug-ins) at $160 is quite a savings.Más... (PDF)
