Tonight we have the third of our show testing nights brought to us by Nick and our friends from Running Warehouse. Tonight it is Saucony and chance to test these great shoes. Then again on Sunday if you go into the store you will score get 25% off all Saucony gear that they stock. So maybe drop in before coming to join the KRew at the Rag and Famish and show off all your new gear!

We have a busy weekend in the life of the KRew this week. Firstly, on Saturday there is the inaugural running of the Sydney Ultra marathon 50k spanning both Garigal and Ku-ring-gai National Parks, a fun very hilly race in the city.
Then on Sunday we have the next in our series of KR Long Runs hosted by Tully and his band of volunteers. This week a later start at 8am, before taking on a sneak peak of most of the Sydney Marathon course starting in the usual place for the KR.
Also on this Sunday is the Beach2Beach a 14k race from Dee Why to Newport. We have a couple of the KRew pacing it as well as some others going to try and beat there C2S times from two weeks ago.
And if that is not enough there is the Sydney Olympic Park Half marathon for those wanting a fast flat half to do as part of preparation for the TCS Sydney Marathon.
The to celebrate an awesome weekend of running and racing we have the next KR Social Even starting at 12pm this Sunday 25 August at the Rag and Famish in North Sydney. Will be great for us all to come together and socialise post all this great running. And even if you don’t run this weekend come along and socialise anyway!! See the post in FB for the details.
Then on 21 September we are having a KR BBQ at Chinamens Beach – stay tuned for details
Upcoming Events
Then on 15th September the big one, the sold out TCS Sydney Marathon 2024 Stay tuned for KR meeting places and post race activities. https://sydneymarathon.com.
Of course, there are many many races throughout the year that the KR will do, such as those out at Sydney Olympic Park and around the foreshore. We will highlight as many was think of, but if you have one to promote you think the KRew will love, let us know!
If you want to find some for yourself I recommend using The Running Calendar website which lists just about every race in Australia.
Tuesday Speed Sessions, every week as t of you know we hold a speed session on Tuesday nights at Gore Hill Oval starting at 6:30pm. It is great to see about 14 or 15 people coming each week to work on their speed and push themselves on the various sessions that we do. All are welcome and for more details please message me directly.
If you are bringing bags tonight, Evelyn will be there with her car to hold them whilst you run. (But please pick them up as soon as we have finished the run!) Thank you, Evelyn much appreciated!!
