20th Anniversary Shirt
If you are one of the people who tried to order some KR clothing in the last few days. We did have a slight hiccup but all fixed and so if you haven’t already get in quick to secure your 1st Edition of the 20th Anniversary Shirt or any of the regular KR clothing.
As well as the usual range of KR branded gear you will notice there is a new light running jacket been added to the shop. It is available in Red and Black and looks awesome. Shop will close 19th October so that we can get the shirts in time for Christmas.

Last Saturday we held the Biennial KR Wine Tour 2025. It was a great day with 31of the KRew who tasted a lot of wine, had a lot of laughter ensued and sang many songs on the bus on the way home. We visited 4 lovely wineries around the region and a classic pub lunch at the Sutton Forest Inn.
A huge thank you to Luzaan who did a magnificent job working with me to organise and then lead the tour. If you missed out, make sure you sign up for when we do the next one.
Last weekend saw a fair number of the KRew, who didn’t make the wine tour, but instead were out racing here and overseas. Fronting up for the Melbourne marathon we had: Brian, Wilmer, Yao Tai and Jack; also in Melbourne for the half we had Steph, Adam and Arni. Here in Sydney saw Erica taking on the Great Nosh Trail race. Overseas in the Chicago Marathon, saw Randy, Eddie, Helena and James. But wait there is more, we also saw Will lining up for Royal Parks Half in London. Well done and congratulations everyone, I know many of you bagged a PB and all of you had a great time. Don’t forget to show us your medals on the Monday night 10k.
Upcoming Events
Annual Halloween Run 30th October. We will hold our annual Halloween run on the Thursday before All Hallows Eve to get our spooky in early. This is always a fun group run where many of the KRew dress up and get into the ‘spirit’ of the day. So start thinking about what you dress as to ‘scare’ the locals on the bridge.
Next KR long run this Sunday 19th October. Please see the invite from Tully on FB. See you all there.
Save the Date – KR Christmas Party confirmed for Sunday 7th December. Each year we hold our annual Christmas Party, always a big event on the KR calendar where we share food, laughs and of course announce the KR Member of the Year. I will confirm the location closer to the date, so stay tuned.
Tuesday Speed Sessions these are held every Tuesday at the place Gore Hill Oval at 6:30pm. Great way to practice for next year’s Relay Race. All Welcome! See you there!
Upcoming Races
Bare Creek 20k Trail Race (ENTRIES NOW OPEN) will be held on 2nd November. In KR I know we have a lot of trail runners, those who think that spending the day out on the trails running mountains and fording streams is the only way to be free. This year I hope we can get a big contingent of the KRew up to Acron Oval to take on this beautiful course in Garrigal National Park. https://barecreektrailrun.com.au

Of course, there are many races throughout the year that the KR will do, such as those out at Sydney Olympic Park and around the foreshore. We will highlight as many we think of, but if you have one to promote you think the KRew will love, let us know!
