… Just bad clothing choices! Tonight, may or, may not, be a bit damp, not that ever dampens the spirit of the KRew. The KRew who relish a run across the bridge no matter what the weather is doing. The KRew is not made of sugar!

KR turns 20 in 2026

Next year Kirribilli Runners we will be celebrating 20 years of being the best social running club in Sydney. To help us celebrate we want to release a special 20^th Anniversary edition of the famous Red Shirt.

This is where YOU come in, are you a designer, or know someone who is who can help us design the 20^thAnniversary special logo, then please contact me urgently.  Voting will open soon.

Last weekend saw about 40 people out there Repping the Red on the Real Insurance 10k on what was a pretty spectacular morning. Well done everyone who race both there and elsewhere last weekend.

Volunteers for Sydney Marathon

Upcoming Events

KR long run will join with the Sydney Marathon Training Run on this Sunday 17^th August and will be the last long run for many people before taking on Sydney marathon on 31^st August. Make sure you sign up for great prize draws as well as some good long run hit outs.

Upcoming Races

Many local and Australian 2025 races are now open for registration and if you think you will run any of them, I encourage you to sign up straight away as they will sell out. (Both Gold Coast marathon and half marathon, along with Melbourne marathon have already sold out.) 

City2Surf 2025 is now sold out! UPDATE: Please send your name to Tully but is has to be the exact name you used to register for C2S. Once he has them he will send the list to organisers, and we will be an awesome team!!

Sydney Marathon is now only 5 weeks away and the ballot entries have long been closed and entries confirmed. If you missed out, consider becoming an official volunteer or coming down and supporting the KRew.

Bare Creek 20k Trail Race (ENTRIES NOW OPEN) will be held on 2nd November. In KR I know we have a lot of trail runners, those who think that spending the day out on the trails running mountains and fording streams is the only way to be free. This year I hope we can get a big contingent of the KRew up to Acron Oval to take on this beautiful course in Garrigal National Park. https://barecreektrailrun.com.au

Of course, there are many races throughout the year that the KR will do, such as those out at Sydney Olympic Park and around the foreshore. We will highlight as many we think of, but if you have one to promote you think the KRew will love, let us know!

If you find a race that has a KR Team and needs a code let me know. Or if you are the first KR to sign up for a race, please create a KR team and let me know.
