Can you believe this weather that we are having at the moment. Each morning as I go out for a run seems to be more spectacular than the last. And spectacular mornings lead to great evenings and tonight will be no exception, so make sure you are ready to join us on the KRClassic course to take in the sights of the Bridge and the Opera House.
KR Shop is OPEN and this is where you can get yourself all the awesome KR Merch. Whether you are new and this will be your first Red shirt, or you need to stock up, there is something for everyone. Before you ask, yes the KR 20th Year shirts, both short and long sleeve, as well singlets and crop tops are all available. Plus the black jacket is available again, this much in demand item has been out of stock but is there again but hurry as stocks are limited.

TCS Sydney Marathon Official Volunteers. KR has only a few spots left for official volunteers for the marathon at the end of August. So please get in quick and be part of the KR Team who volunteering to help the event go smoothly. See or message Florence, Anel or myself for details. Will be a great day!

This weekend is the annual Gold Coast Marathon, one of the best running festivals in Australia and I’m sure this year will be no exception. If you are one of the KRew who is heading up there make sure you connect with Tully who will be organising a few social gatherings for the KRew who will be up there. Go You Good Things!
20th Anniversary Update
Stay tuned for the Al-mazing Race announcement! (Luzaan and I have been planning and getting ready for this one, so stay tuned.)
The calendar of course, has all the regular KR runs as well as the major races that we will be following and promoting. We will add to the races as the year goes on. If you have a favourite race, then let me know and we can add it.
Upcoming Events
Monthly Long Run. Next long run will be Sunday 19th July and will be the annual City2Surf sneak peak. Always a popular KR run and so mark your diaries and plan to be there for the iconic run to Bondi Beach.
Tuesday Speed Sessions. We will be meeting at 6:30pm at the usual spot at Gore Hill Oval. It is open to all and if you want to know more details, please reach out to me.
Upcoming Races
Another great local 10k race is the Real Insurance harbour 10k a flat fast course along the foreshore. So far, we have 27 people in the KR team and would love to have you join us. (Nearly sold out)
Next Sri Chinmoy race will be on Sunday the 12th July at Dolls Point for a half, 10k and 5k event. These races are a friendly, low pressure local race series that is very reasonably priced, have various distances on offer and held in some of the most scenic parts of Sydney. https://au.srichinmoyraces.org/sydneyraces
Of course, there are many races throughout the year that the KR will do, such as those out at Sydney Olympic Park and around the foreshore. We will highlight as many we think of, but if you have one to promote you think the KRew will love, let us know!

If you find a race that has a KR Team and needs a code let me know. Or if you are the first KR to sign up for a race, please create a KR team and let me know.

If you are bringing bags tonight, Trevor is back and will be there with his car to hold them for you. As always please collect them straight after the finish photo. Thank you, Trevor much appreciated.
Regarding the bag drop, to help keep KR running smoothly I have asked Trevor to take on being the coordinator for Monday and Thursday nights to ensure there is a car to enable the bag drop. He has a group chat and would love to add you to it if you are able to help from time to time.
