KR Hoodies and Tops for Sale Soon!

Yes soon you will be able to own you very own KR branded hoodie or trackie top. Helena and I have been doing some research and as you would have seen with a mock up that we had on last week. We’ve taken some feedback on the design and colours and will soon have the new designs and styles available for sale. These are going to be coming from Sub4 and so you will be able to purchase them as soon as we open up the shop, where you will also be able to get your new shirts, caps and visors.
Stay tuned for when we open the store again.
What a big crowd we had last week, at a touch over 80 it was probably the biggest group that we’ve had on Thursday night. It was a great run and we definitely filled the KH and the pizza shop post the run. This had followed one of our biggest Monday nights with over 40 people taking on the KR10k course. So I’m looking forward to another bumper night tonight of a huge number of the KRew running across the bridge. And the weather radar tells me it is going to be a dry run….
Upcoming Events
Next week we won’t be meeting at our usual time in the evening due to it being Australia Day, instead we are meeting at 7:30am for a group run of about 10k or so followed by a brunch in Kirribilli. It is going to be the KR Australia Day Run for IMF (Indigenous Marathon Foundation) we holding a fundraiser for this very excellent cause, and all we ask is that, if you can, that you please make a small donation to this great cause at the link below. I can see that we are nearly at our target of $300 but the more the merrier, so even just a little amount like $5 or $10 all helps this great cause.

We will be starting in the usual place at 7:30am and will be running about 10k as a group with some stops for photos and water as we go. See the invite on the FB page and don’t forget to donate a few $ to the IMF!
Sun Run first Saturday in February; I know a lot of KR already signed up for this annual dash from Dee Why to Manly followed by brunch at Shelly Beach. See you there!
For Canberra Marathon 2023 will be a big group of KR already signed up and busy training for the race. Best thing is that we now have a discount code that gives you 10% off, so use that if you are going to sign up for it. (SM-MEMBER-KR)
Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 17 Sep 23! Never to early to sign up for the marathon and get your training program sorted. I have started a KR group so make sure you join the KRew team!
Coming up in February we are having a special KR Sunday Run Fun event, incorporating a beer mile! Stay tuned….
If you are bringing bags, then the ever-reliable Helena will be there with her car to hold them whilst you run. (But please pick them up as soon as we have finished the run!) Thank you Helena that is really awesome!!
