Greetings KRew
Welcome to another week of running the KRClassic. Recently we have had several overseas visitors join us for KRClassic and it is always great to be able to share with them, and without exception say how much they enjoy the course and enjoy meeting and mixing with the KRew.
Of course, we are fortunate to be able to run the KRClassic every week of the year and then socialise with the KRew at the KH afterwards. I do like seeing how everyone goes out of their way to make sure we talk to and try to include visitors and new people to the club by running with them and making sure they are feeling welcome and
This weekend sees the 3rd Annual Bondi to Manly race. This is an 80km ultra that takes racers along the iconic Bondi2Manly walk, the race goes out to all three headlands as well as seeing the city from many awesome vantage points. KR is going to well represented in both the solo 80k even and the teams relay event, will be great to have so many of us out there Repping the Red.
If you’d like to come out and support us, Vanessa is taking the KR flag out to Milsons Park in Kirribilli to cheer us on, so go down and join her and be part of the fun. Of course if you are near any of the course during the day, give us a wave and shout out, it will be really appreciated.

If you want to find some for yourself, I highly recommend using The Running Calendar website which lists just about every race in Australia. https://www.runningcalendar.com.au/
Tuesday Speed Sessions, every week as most of you know we hold a speed session on Tuesday nights at Gore Hill Oval starting at 6:30pm. It is great to see about 14 or 15 people coming each week to work on their speed and push themselves on the various sessions that we do. All are welcome and for more details please message me directly.
If you are bringing bags tonight, Greg has volunteered to be there with his car to hold them whilst you run. (But please pick them up as soon as we have finished the run!) Thank you, Greg, very much appreciated!!
That’s a wrap for this week; remember to take care of yourself and others.
Keep running @everyone and happy trails,
Steve
