KR Long Run this Sunday

11th October is the Biennial KR Wine Tour. This event is only $70 for the bus and is limited to 40 people. (News Flash only 18 seats left!) So be quick and let Luzaan know if you are coming and she will put you on the list. (See event invite on FB.)
Save the Date – KR Christmas Party confirmed for Sunday 7th December. Each year we hold our annual Christmas Party, always a big event on the KR calendar where we share food and laughs and of course announce the KR Member of the Year I will confirm the location closer to the date, so stay tuned.
KR turns 20 in 2026 I’ve now closed the logo competition and will release the winning design and new shirt design shortly. I’m very excited and think that our 20 year shirt will prove to be very popular indeed.

Next KR long run this Sunday 21st September. Tully will be leading the 20k option and I will lead the 10k group. See you all there.
Tuesday Speed Sessions these are held every Tuesday at the place Gore Hill Oval at 6:30pm. All Welcome! See you there!
2nd Annual NRG v KR Invitational 4 by 60 relay. Our friends at NRG have extended an invitation to KR for us to go and defend our title as the Best Relay Team and a chance to retain our title. I have 20 people so far. If you are keen to join the team, please let me know, cost is only $10 for beer and pizza post the race. (Not payable if you don’t eat pizza or drink beer ) I especially need more KR women for our mixed and single sex teams. (See event on our FB page.)
Upcoming Races
Bare Creek 20k Trail Race (ENTRIES NOW OPEN) will be held on 2nd November. In KR I know we have a lot of trail runners, those who think that spending the day out on the trails running mountains and fording streams is the only way to be free. This year I hope we can get a big contingent of the KRew up to Acron Oval to take on this beautiful course in Garrigal National Park. https://barecreektrailrun.com.au

Of course, there are many races throughout the year that the KR will do, such as those out at Sydney Olympic Park and around the foreshore. We will highlight as many we think of, but if you have one to promote you think the KRew will love, let us know!

If you find a race that has a KR Team and needs a code let me know. Or if you are the first KR to sign up for a race, please create a KR team and let me know.
