It has been fun out running in all this crazy weather recently, with days where it is sunny, days over cast, days that are cold and day that are wet, and if your run is long enough a bit of each….
Everyone had a fun time at the KR social event last Saturday, was a good gathering of folks a few drinks consumed and lots of stories and laughs. Stay tuned for the next social event brought to you by our wonderful social committee.
I think the new shirts are a bit of hit and I’m hearing good things about them especially how light and breathable they are.
I have now looked at what I have with 2XU shirts and if you are after one please message or write to me with what you are looing for. I have mainly S male and female singlets and a few –shirts and long sleeve shirts of various sizes, but hit me up anyway you never know I might have what you are looking for. I now sold a few of the 2XU that I have but please keep on to me about them to see if I have something that will fit you.
On 17th July we are combining with Girls Run Sydney for a run for Women’s Rights, Judy will post details shortly so be on the look out and plan to come for a run for this important issue.
On July 24th there is the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k and 5k events, always a good turnout of the KRew and I believe Anthony is organising a team, so be on the lookout for that one. I suggest registering today as early bird discount finishes on Friday!
City to Surf 2022 entries are open and so far we have over 50 people in the KR team who are excited to be Repping the Red on that iconic course heading to Bondi Beach. I’m sure the City Beach Hotel will be pleased to see the KRew back for a few bevies post the race!
Blackmores Running Festival in September entries are open and early bird discounts nearly gone. When you sign up make sure you join the Kirribilli Runners team! I’m sure that a lot of us will be doing that event and in fact are already in training for the marathon event! We will also be looking for volunteers, so if you are not running come along and give something back to your community!
