Map Your Neighborhood

Tuesday, April 12

7:00-8:30 pm

At Fire Station 22 (6602 108th Ave NE, Kirkland)

When disaster strikes, calling 911 may not likely bring you any help.  You will need to depend on your own preparedness and the assistance of your neighbors to survive the first few days. Do you know your neighbors?  Do you know who has medical or building skills?  Who has a chain saw or knows how to deal with a gas leak?

The Kirkland Office of Emergency Management is offering a free Map Your Neighborhood facilitator training on Tuesday, April 12. This program helps prepare neighborhoods to help one another in the aftermath of a disaster, when emergency service may be delayed. All materials are included.  You will learn everything you need to know to organize your neighborhood.

This is a City of Kirkland/KECT activity. To register, or for more information, go to www.KirklandCERT.com
