NE 87th St Closure

NE 87th Street will be closed, Monday March 18th, for a water vault and waterline installation. The closure will be along NE 87th St and 116th Ave NE between 114th Ave NE and NE 88th St (reference map below).

Resident access, as well as access of vital services such as emergency vehicle responses, deliveries, garbage service, etc., will be maintained by the contractor during the closure.

At this time, the latest information the City of Kirkland has is that the road will be fully or partially closed from March to May, but this information - including detour information - will be updated as we receive more specific scheduling information.

The work includes:

Installation of a new 24-inch watermain down the center of NE 87th Street
Installation of a new water vault at the corner of NE 87th St and 116th Ave NE
