We have an urgent opening for a Principal/Director-Level Software Development Engineer with a leading healthcare organization. Details below:
Role: Principal Software Engineer (Director Level) Type: Contract / Full-Time Location: Remote
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of software engineering with cloud-native architecture and delivery
- 5+ years in senior/principal/architect roles on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Full-stack: Angular, React, TypeScript (front end) + Java, Python, Node.js (back end)
- Microservices, API-first, and event-driven architecture (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Kafka)
- AI/GenAI integration experience (LLMs, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Gemini)
- Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
- SQL/NoSQL, Redis, BigQuery, Spanner
- Healthcare or regulated-industry experience preferred
- Experience with Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI dev tools is a plus
What the Role Involves:
- Define architecture for large-scale distributed systems and digital platforms
- Lead full-stack engineering across UI, backend, and data layers
- Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise digital experiences
- Drive platform engineering, observability, and DevOps standards
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams
Education: Bachelor's in CS or Engineering (Master's preferred)
