KFADEN: Update on additional outreach push to Colorado communities

Hi everyone,

Just a note to let everyone know that an additional 21 groups/collectives/people/etc. local to Colorado have been contacted today. These groups include, but are not limited to:

* The Zeitgeist Movement — Colorado Chapter[0]
* African Community Center[1]
* Warren Village[2]
* Colorado Street Medics[3]
* Sierra Club Rocky Mountain Chapter[4]
* Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR)[5]

The full list is available in a Google Spreadsheet[6] with individual emails and methods of contact. All listed groups have been contacted, but we are eager to do additional outreach. To that end, please feel free to find groups on your own, contact them, and then add them to this list. (Everyone who has subscribed to the KinkForAll mailing list has been granted edit permissions on that spreadsheet. I.e., if you are receiving this email, you should be able to edit that Google spreadsheet!)

Have a look at the message I sent COLOR via Facebook for an example template you can use to contact more groups.[7]

You should now have access to the Google Doc containing the full list of groups contacted so you can go ahead and reach out to It Takes A Village and just add them to the list along with the contact method or just the date if emailed so we know not to email them again.

is there a standardized email being sent out?  if so, can i have a link please? i've only joined the group the other day and trying to sort through all the historic emails is overwhelming to me.

I've also been personalizing it if I had a contact name, or thought there was a specific link between the group and the event, for example you might highlight one of the proposed workshops if applicable, or suggest something specific the group can speak to at KFADEN.

Hmm. I don't know why Sabel can't seem to edit, I'm sorry. Since Sable is subscribed to this list, and this *list* has edit permissions, I'm unsure what's going wrong.

One thing to try is to make sure that you access the Google Doc by going to https://docs.google.com, Sabel, rather than to the published-only link.
