This is probably a good time to look for someone to take over.
Running the group takes very little effort.
Current tasks include updating the website, making the meeting announcements, and paying attention to this mailing list and the Facebook group.

Let me know if you are interested.
I'd hate for the group to vanish! It's happened before.

Yes I agree someone does need to take over, unfortunately I think I am graduating about the same time as Ahmad so I can't really volunteer. The facebook page might help the group stay around easier, I for one don't plan on leaving the group even when I leave town. Also why does whoever owns klug.ca continue to pay to host it? maybe they should take it down to avoid confusion or point it to the new website.

I founded the second incarnation of the KLUG back in 1999 (I believe there was one before me), the same KLUG that owns / operates klug.on.ca. That domain (and klug.ca) was paid up for a block of years. I'm not even sure who the domain contacts are anymore, though it might still be me. I ran the KLUG show for a few years and then tried to pass the buck, but no one was interested in taking the reins. Since then the domain and web site just fell off the map. The relative lack of interest in a 3-school town always surprised me.

Anyway, if this group is interested in using klug.on.ca I could do some digging. The old website runs on a PC hosted gratis at WTC Communications (I'm surprised they haven't disconnected it after all this time).
