Peter, Jean Pierre and I walked the ice, as it was too windy to sail. First from Park St Louis, then from Park Centennial ( site of the 1995 Worlds ), both in Beaconsfield.The few cracks we saw are fully navigable
The access to the big grade 9.5 plate of ice is shorter and easier from Centennial.The black ice is over 5 inches thick, 95% snow free.
If the wind abates, we will sail tomorrow,
