Bonjour All,

Looking at the weather forecast, looks like Sand Bar could be sailable Saturday, but light rain is forecast for Sunday.( Is it worth it ?)
What y’all think ?

Thanks for the update. Not promising, so unless someone discovers something else than slush/crud,   as John says, we’ll have to wait for next refreeze.

I’m heading up to Killington VT this afternoon (from NJ) with my ice boats (DN and Ice Bird).  

If there is a chance of good ice on Lake Champlain, I’ll drive up to Sand Bar State Park on Saturday morning.  The other potential launch spot is Hero’s Welcome on South Hero island, 20 minutes north of Sand Bar State Park.

What are your current plans?  

I’m really hoping to get on good ice somewhere this weekend, and I’m will to drive!

I’m getting the hint that all the folks in the know are saying go skiing!  

I’ll probably bail on the Champlain trip too.  Unfortunately I can’t just schedule a weekend to go ice boating….
