Salut à tous,
Pour votre info. Si Jacek vérifie la glace vers 9 hrs, et les "drain holes" sont safe , on devrait tous aller à Baie D'Urfe, vers 11 am.
Jacek, is it not easier to launch at Bertold Park , next to Baie Durfe YC? More parking.
André

Hi All,
Just checked Baie D’urfe ice. Close to the shore there was about 5 “, especially around drain holes but as I walked out I was not able to break through even after 8”. Drain holes at the moment have 1.5” of new ice. Most of them are small and not an issue even if sailed over, however I found few bigger once, so the -12C overnight should help making then secure. My plan is first check the ice around 9:00 am; if drain holes are solid then to bring my boat to baie d’urfe park next to the city hall around 11 am,go do some sailing. As you can see on the pictures from the wind the top has orange pill structure , very even, good grip. The dark spots are the drain holes, quite viable even from a distance.Weather forecast for tomorrow looks good (sunny and 15km/h wind), so if anyone is interested meet me tomorrow. Please feel free to call me for an update and more details.Thanks.JacekKC 5247Tel: 514 862 9614
