Dear Friend,
We could secure a debate in Parliament on Creative Subjects and the EBacc.
The Government plans for a compulsory EBacc of a minimum of seven subject choices will leave little or no room in the curriculum
or the school day for other GCSEs. We need to get this proposal dropped and to do this we need your help.
The great news is that more than 73,000 people have signed the
new petition
calling for a debate in Parliament on arts education and the EBacc.
If this
brand new Parliamentary petition
gets 100,000 signatures before 9 May 2016, the EBacc and the exclusion of design, dance, drama, music, art and other creative subjects will be debated in the House of Commons.
We only have a two months to get it to 100,000 signatures.
To hit this target we need the petition to get
almost 400 new signatures a day.

An EBacc debate in Parliament is a vital opportunity that we cannot miss. Help us make this happen – sign the petition today.
Best wishes,
The Bacc for the Future campaign team
PS Don’t forget, you can
write to your MP
using our template letter on the campaign website. If you have already heard back from your MP and they support the EBacc, we have prepared
a useful myth-busting page
to help you respond to them.
