Balsall Heath Local History Society require a sessional support assistant to work with the Balsall Heath Youth Theatre on Saturday mornings.
The purpose of the role is to assist the development of a new Youth Theatre Group in Balsall Heath as a creative and challenging means of supporting personal development and community cohesion. Duties will include taking the role of Sessional Assistant in developing a new Youth Theatre group in Balsall Heath, working with the Project Co-ordinator, Steering Group for the project, other sessional staff and volunteers. You will also assist in the delivery of a programme of drama or drama related sessions by undertaking administration tasks and supporting the Young People to take part in the sessions. Experience of record keeping and the ability to motivate participants are essential along with a good standard of written English.
