I bought extansion that goes with this and I'm really angry given the price $ 600.
Is there someone who knows what program it is, is it a big scam or a monumental BAD series???
I wanted to buy the strings and brass too, but I strongly believe that I'll never approach an east west product or other product that would use the PLAY WIZARD, it seems they decide to sell technology that is not at all successfull and finished.
Could someone help, some one who has got this application and could answer; even if it's to hear "throw this **** to garbage and forgot" lol
using east west symphonic choirs in sibelius 7.5
Posted by brimo - 12 Jan 08:11PM Hide picture Hi all, having bought east west symphonic choirs and had the johnathan loving soundset fitted to my Sibelius 7.5 I find that despite following the instructions given by the JL soundset and attempting to copy examples on you tube, I am unable to use the choirs as I cannot get my head around the technical stuff and each time I follow the tutorials what I am actually seeing on my system is not what is on the tutorial. Have exhausted myself with this and very frustrated. Can anyone tell me if there is a course available or a cd or anything to help me use the sounds. Is there anyone out there that uses the same system who could provide me with an "idiots guide" that does not assume that I am a computer expert. I have no problem with the east west orchestra just the choir. Thanks Back to top Allthreads Re: using east west symphonic choirs in sibelius 7.5
Posted by Peter Roos - 13 Jan 07:35PM Hide picture It's been years since I last used Symphonic Choirs with Sibelius. The trick with the soundset is to exactly follow the instructions about and where to install it, what manuscript paper and housestyle to use, etc.
Jonathan used to help users individually charging a modest hourly fee to get everything set up; not sure whether he still does this. My understand is that he has "moved on", there have not been any new releases in a while.
Fwiw, here is a short tutorial by me on how to set up Sibelius with Hollywood Choirs, which is an improved version of Symphonic Choirs, using Wordbuilder.

By the way, even with the soundset properly working, you will still have to program wordbuilder separately, any lyrics entered in Sibelius won't be sung back. I believe you can get the "oohs" and "aahs" to be played though, as well as dynamics etc.
