Use our free cursor collections! To add them to Custom Cursor extension - just click on the "Add" button under the one you need. After that, they will be available for choosing in extension pop-up window.

Likely there is an issue with the url. to test this instead of using default use crosshair and see if the cursor changes, also not the style might be cached in the browser so on most browsers Ctrl+F5 should reload the page without cache.

So I used an online cursor converter to convert my .png icon to a .cur icon. And when I tried it out, the icon was off about 10 pixels to the right and the top. After some googling, I found out that the cursor's hotspot was set "incorrectly". I tried to edit it from the VS 2012 Image Editor. It wouldn't let me.

I'm creating an application and based on the button the user clicks I want the cursor image to change. I have little to no clue how the toolkit works but after browsing a lot of people recommended that.

A major problem I am having with the toolkit is that I dont know how to add my custom images to it and I also do not know how to add a Point object to it... I tried MouseInfo.getPointerInfo() but that still will not work, neither will "new Point(0,0)" I am extending JPanel in this class already so I don't know if it is possible to extend Point at the same time...

I've slowly started to customize my PC more and more, and recently decided to change my cursors. I made a custom theme for the cursor set and applied it. However, there's one problem. Whenever I restart my PC, the cursor theme goes back to default. When I go to change the theme, it says the Custom theme is selected, but it doesn't actually apply any of the custom cursors unless I select another theme then select the Custom one and apply it.

I tried following a thread online to edit my registry keys so windows wouldn't change cursor with theme, since I use Wallpaper Engine, but it didn't do anything and Windows keeps reverting the cursor theme to default. Can anybody help me out? I'm a bit slow ^^

The problem though is that that pointer is supposed to appear in a 100+ places in the project and I was wondering if there is a way to just override cursor: pointer with my custom pointer with only a couple of lines of code in css.

I'm currently experimenting with large custom cursor on hover and I'd like to make the hover a little more accurate. I'd like to center the cursor in the image not to be top left. I'm not sure exactly which method would the be the best, any tips on that ?

Hello everyone! I'm in the process of renewing my website, now everything is in place and the final icing on the cake would be a custom cursor. In the best case with the function that he inverts as a circle the place in the background. But even just a custom cursor (circle) would be awesome.

None of the questions I could find here have answered this. I want to make a macro in TexStudio for various kinds of mathematics, but when I execute them I want to choose where the cursor goes.

The moment you hover over a link/button on a web page you get the default cursor over the top of my custom cursor,
Does anyone have any pointers. on how to either disable my custom cursor during the web browser umg page and then enabled it again once web browser. Or of-course better again, Get the web browser to work with my custom cursors.

Just to remind everyobody, I was running into the same problem today. Once the pointed hand cursor appears, it never goes away again, from now on showing the hand and the custom cursor together until you restart the editor

I'm developing a custom widget for Web AppBuilder 1.2 and I'm using the setMapCursor() function to display a custom mouse cursor. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox, but unfortunately it's not doing anything in IE 9, IE 11, or Edge. The code looks like this:

It's been awhile since you posted this, and you may have already figured it out. For posterity, though, I believe the problem here is that IE only supports custom cursors in .cur and .ani format (not .png).

Agree. It feels like most prototyping tools are optimized for mobile where no hover effect exists - but there are still a lot of desktop applications in the world that rely on hover + cursor change. This would be really huge I even would like to have a fully customizable cursor.

Maybe whenever a user wants to explore various hover states, they could have the cursor change. That way when things are clickable, etc we could explore a more realistic interaction within a custom website UI.

Just recently I have been having issues with custom cursors. In the top left of my canvas, the cursor works perfectly. The farther I move my mouse from there, the farther my custom cursor goes away from where my cursor should be. I've provided a video showing what I mean. In a project I am working on currently the cursor was functioning perfectly. I didn't touch the movie clip or the code and suddenly it started doing the same thing as test movie below. I did update to the newest version of Animate between the cursor working fine and having this bug. Additionally, I tried creating a drag and drop but the same error happens with what I'm trying to drag. The object drifts away from the cursor. Testing this issue, it seems to only be a problem for mac users, maybe just by coincidence?

Colin! This worked really well on my computer but now the others that were not having issues with the file are only able to drag the custom cursor halfway across the stage. Do you have any idea why we are having the issue only on a few computers?

I have to build a functionality very much similar to erase or pencil using (Square or Circle Tool) where the size of the Square(SIDES) and Circle(RADIUS) can be changed by the user so sides of square and the radius of the circle need to be changed. As the cursor moves around in the Drawing area.

Hey @gwillems I am using gtkmm-3,24, on some search I found this -3-2/demos but unable to find the cursor and the paint demo that you mentioned. Can you guide me where exactly I can find those examples?

I started using vim-template which recognizes a %HERE% variable in the templates that sets the cursor location. My custom function overrides this capability. Is there a way to change my autocommand to only reset the cursor when a template is not loaded so the %HERE% variable still works when a template is loaded? If part of the solution involves using a different template plugin, I would be happy to hear that as well.

Unfortunately, when adding my code in, with two different images and what I assume is two different cursor states (one for default and one for links), the cursor does not change when hovering over links, and just continues with the same cursor.

Recently, Unity has the default cursor option in the player settings. This sets that texture as the cursor. As for the poor drawing, What is the quality setting that your are using? (Fast, Fastest, Good, etc). BTW Posting a picture of the issue would help a lot.

I can't get Firefox to use some custom cursors. Firefox is only recognizing the cursors that came installed with Ubuntu. Any of the cursors I installed will default to DMZ-White, but Firefox is using those cursors that came installed with Ubuntu.I tried defining the default cursor in /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme but did nothing as well. Also I tried with the cursor in /usr/share/icons and in /home/name/.icons and firefox cannot get in any of those.

A four by two grid of CSS cursors, including OS default, text edit bar, link pointer, move, open drag hand, zoom in, column resize, and cell..cls-1fill:#4a4a4a@media (prefers-color-scheme:dark).cls-1fill:#e8e8e8

If you want to change the cursor with custom image, adding the c++ resource file and using CoreCursorType.Custom is correct way to do it. Currently, there is no other ways that you could set the cursor with custom image via API directly.

I made a custom mouse cursor (a simple semi-transparent circle to look like a touch position instead of a cursor), and set windows to use it by selecting it in the mouse settings, however the position that the click happens is incorrect (it's the bottom left corner of the custom mouse cursor image).

Would be really great to change the mouse cursor. Instead of a crosshair blocking the vertex I want to select, a simple box around the bounds of the selection area, with a transparent interior, is very much an improvement.

This way, my mind gets a visual cue that the vertex is inside of my cursor, it is a completely subliminal event, rather than an active effort to try and get a headshot of the vertex when I am trying to select it.
