I am really p..sed off about this software which deletes my downloads without warning or asking. I downloaded the same file from turbobit.net two times and it deleted it every time. I got it at first time. Ok, bd just did it's job" I said. But then at second time I had disabled bitdefender. But it still deleted my file and it takes a very long time to download it. One more thing; it doesn't even include a virus and bd didn't even scan it. What is wrong with you guys who developed this av?

You need to understand that whenever you download something from internet, the real time protection of bitdefender will constantly scan the file in the background and it will not show you the dialog box for the scanning of the download file until you will manually run a custom scan. All antimalware real time protection works in the same way.

There are various methods by which an antimalware detects a file as malicious, in bitdefender case, there is signature based detection, cloud based detection, behaviour blocker (advanced threat defense).

If you really, want to use the file, you will have to add the location of the file in the bitdefender exclusion list so that even after downloading the file, bitdefender real time protection will not scan that particular location of the file.

Also, if you think the file is incorrectly detected by bitdefender, you can share the same with malware researchers by filling the below stated forum. If file is indeed incorrectly detected, the detection will be removed in next 72 hours. If the detection stays even after 72 hours, consider the file as malicious by malware researchers.

Additionally, below is the virustotal link of the file that was downloaded from the link you shared. It seems that it was not the signature based detection that detected the file as malicious but more of a behaviour blocker (advanced threat defense) that kicked in to detect the file as malicious and delete it.

However, this is not necessary relevant to the issue at hand, as we must determine what type of file is being downloaded and what exactly is being detected. To find out, please submit the sample with our malware researchers using the form located at the link below. If this behaviour occurs as a result of a false positive detection, once confirmed, the false alarm will be corrected within hours:

"Posting malware samples and /or URLs is not allowed in the community! Do not post direct links to any executable files, malicious/suspicious software or websites in threads, comments or private messages, even if you think the software or site is clean and incorrectly detected by Bitdefender."

blah blah blah. You have deleted the file link but if you have downloaded it, you would see that the archive file only contains simple flac (audio format) files. As a busy user, I just don't want to be disturbed and don't want my downloaded files get deleted without asking, especially when they don't include any malware. that's all I am asking. I even shouldn't bother to post this issue here. I should just buy a better av next time. Btw, It's not my job to report BD's false positives. I just want the developers of this software to think more responsively. Users can't do those guys' job.

So, below is the virustotal link of the file that was downloaded from the link you shared. It seems that it was not the signature based detection that detected the file as malicious but more of a behaviour blocker (advanced threat defense) that kicked in to detect the file as malicious and delete it.

Whether you're a beginner or a Turbobit pro, we've compiled the most frequently asked questions and provided assistance with your problems. If you can't find an answer to your question, you can contact the Turbobit customer service.

On the Turbobit download page, you are offered two methods of downloading: Free Download and High-Speed Download (requires purchasing a premium account). If you want a free download, simply click on "Regular Download." If you don't have premium access with high-speed functionality, you will need to solve a captcha and wait for a certain amount of time. Afterwards, you will receive a link to download the file at a slower speed. The download speed for files in free mode is approximately 55-60 KBytes/s.

If you encounter issues while downloading a file, you can take the following steps to resolve the problem:
Restart the download to attempt to resume the process. Sometimes, a download can be interrupted due to network disruptions or other factors.
Delete your browser's cache and cookies. Over time, temporary files can accumulate and interfere with the download.
Try using a different browser, preferably the latest version. By trying a different browser, you can determine if the issue is browser-dependent.
Check your internet connection to ensure it is stable and fast. An unstable or slow connection can result in faulty downloads.
Use a download manager like JDownloader. A download manager can optimize the download process and download the file in multiple parts, leading to a faster and more stable connection. However, note that the ability to resume a download from where it failed is typically only available to Turbobit premium users. If you don't have a premium account, you will need to restart the download from the beginning.

If you want to increase the security of Turbobit without sacrificing convenience, you should use a VPN for your downloads. A VPN prevents your identity from being associated with your downloads and can also positively influence the download speed by avoiding throttling by your internet provider. Either way, it's important to choose a good VPN provider, month by month you'll find the best VPNs here.

The message "File not found" means that the file you are trying to access has been removed from the Turbobit servers. There can be several reasons for this:
The user who uploaded the file has deleted it.
There is a copyright violation.
The file's storage time has expired.
In any case, it's unfortunate that the file is no longer available. We recommend looking for an alternative source or contacting the file uploader directly for more information.
