Anything sitting between your cell phone and the signal source weakens received signal, leading to dropped calls. Such obstructions include trees, mountains, tall structures, building materials, and the like. WiFi signals are mainly disrupted by interior walls and furniture.

You might be dropping calls because your phone is working under older software. Software updates are released to fix bugs on your phone. Those bugs can interfere with your phone's functionalities, resulting in dropped calls.

Your cell phone may be at the edge of your router's coverage range, preventing you from maintaining a stable WiFi calling connection. Moving closer to your router may help eliminate dropped calls over WiFi.

The weBoost Home MultiRoom is our most popular booster and perfect for most homes. With high gain and uplink, it can reach distant towers to deliver stronger in-building signal and eliminate dropped calls. Perfect for people in the city and the countryside.

The weBoost Destination RV is the most powerful booster for stationary RVs, trailers, and campers. It uses the popular Home MultiRoom amplifier and top-of-the-line RV antennas. When compared to other mobile signal boosters, the Destination RV offers an additional +15 dB of gain. This means it will significantly reduce dropped calls, even in rural areas with limited coverage. The included 25' telescoping mast makes setting up and taking down the unit easy and painless.

There was a time when it was relatively common for calls to fail on your iPhone, but the "Call Failed" message is a somewhat more rare sight these days. Even so, calls still fail, and it isn't always obvious why.

Beware! My S4 could send / receive texts, download from internet, four or five bars (reception), but still couldn't make or receive calls. To make more confusing, my wife could make / receive calls on her iphone with same carrier (att.) Spent hours trying to resolve, then finally went to ATT store. Now could make / receive calls! Turns out, ATT tower by my residence had GSM voice outage (her phone cdma), but neglected to tell any of the customers in the area. So before you begin the quest to fix the phone, get the phone out of the immediate vicinity and see if it will make calls. Hope this saves someone some aggravation.

I found the problem with my phone. I can get data, internet, text, but no voice phone. It turned out to be the radio antenna for phones calls. The grey wire on the right side was getting pinched when I screwed the back on. I also lifted the usb flex circuit board slightly, from the right. Cleaned the contact between the board and the antenna contact on the frame and pressed it back. That fixed it. So, check your grey wire connections or try replacing the wire.

All you have to do is turn on airplane mode during the call. By switching to airplane mode, the call will drop but rather than seeing "call ended," the person you were talking with will see "call failed," so they will think the network dropped the call and not that they were dropped by you.

If your phone is dropping calls occasionally, it is most likely a signal issue. However, frequently dropped calls may happen because of a damaged or inappropriately inserted SIM card. Other times, the phone may have physical or liquid damage. There are a few appropriate troubleshooting methods, such as rebooting your phone, performing a software update, or doing a factory reset.

Incarcerated people in restricted housing for non-disciplinary reasons are allowed to access paid services on their tablets. Incarcerated people in restricted housing for disciplinary reasons may not use paid services on the tablets while they are in restricted housing units. Paid services include premium movies, music, news and sports, podcasts, messaging, video calling, audio calls, and internet radio.

For the first 30 days after tablets are activated at an institution, VPT monitors and tune signals to provide the best coverage. During this time, users may experience intermittent signal loss, which could result in dropped calls or loss of connectivity. When submitting Tablet Performance Forms to VPT, users should provide notes about what they are experiencing so VPT can best resolve the issue. Only one form should be submitted per issue, and VPT will respond within three business days.

If you're using an iPhone, the trick below will make it look like spotty cellular coverage or a technical error is to blame when the phone call of FaceTime call is dropped. The other person's phone should get an alert saying that the call has failed, which would not show up if you just flat out hung up on them.

If it still shows that you're on the audio call or FaceTime call after enabling Airplane Mode, you must have Wi-Fi calling enabled and the Wi-Fi radio set up to continue running when Airplane Mode is in use. Simply tap the blue Wi-Fi button in Control Center to cut off Wi-Fi calling.

If it still shows that you're on the audio call or FaceTime call after enabling Airplane Mode, you must have Wi-Fi calling enabled and the Wi-Fi radio set up to continue running when Airplane Mode is in use. You can tell right away if the Wi-Fi is still on since it will say your network's name under the "Airplane Mode" switch. Tap it, then toggle "Wi-Fi" off.

Waterloo regional police said they typically receive about 800 emergency calls everyday but recently, they began to see an increase in the number of dropped calls. By Thursday morning, WRPS had received over 330 dropped emergency calls within a span of just 24 hours, prompting them to send out a tweet, asking people to consider turning the emergency feature off.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Wellington County have also noticed a sharp increase in the number of 911 hang-up calls. In an emailed statement, they said the dropped calls "seem to be associated with an Android update".
