SakuRα Development, the team known for developing the kok3shi9 semi-untethered jailbreak tool for 64-bit iOS 9.3.x devices, took to Twitter this weekend to announce that kok3sh9 had been officially shelved and that the developer now considered the jailbreak to be E.O.L. (end of life):
Additionally, SakuRα Development added in a separate Tweet shortly later that kok2shiX was no longer being updated, and that iOS 10 users should instead look to the semi-untethered socket jailbreak by saturnz for iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPad (4th generation) running iOS 10.3.x instead.
While we are still waiting on the first jailbreak to support iOS 15, the community is developing more and more jailbreak tools for older iOS releases. kok3shi is a 2-year jailbreak for iOS 9 that adds for the first time support for A9 devices.
Once installed, the jailbreak app will exploit the iOS firmware and install Cydia as the default package manager on your device. With Cydia, you can add new repositories and download tweaks and apps for your iPhone or iPad. This is a tool for iOS 9.3.x semi-untethered jailbreak.
kok3shi uses Phoenix kernel exploit by @s1guza and @tihmstar or if selected the cl0ver exploit by @Siguza to access reed and write on the device and install Cydia and other libraries running in the background. The jailbreak was released in 2021, but support for A9 came in May 2022.
kok3shi Jailbreak is released as an IPA package that needs to be sideloaded on your iPhone or iPad with a tool like Sidelaodly. AltStore doesn't support iOS 9. For purposes of this how-to, we will sign and install the kok3shi IPA using the Sideloadly app and a free developer certificate.
kok3shi Jailbreak was never released as an open-source project but on the developer GitHub Repository you can find what patches are used in this jailbreak and view the source code. All components are written in the following languages 73.4% C and 26.6% Objective-C.

Just last year, SakuRα Development released kok3shi, a semi-untethered jailbreak tool for 64-bit iOS 9.3.2-9.3.5 devices. Over time, this particular jailbreak has received a bevy of tiny updates, but one launched just today appears to be particularly substantial.
The latest example would be a new jailbreak tool dubbed kok3shi by SakuRα Development, which was only released just this evening. This jailbreak appears to be semi-untethered just like the tried-and-true Odyssey and unc0ver tools are, however unlike those tools, it supports only 64-bit devices running iOS 9.3.2-9.3.5.

Meridian is a semi-untethered jailbreak developed by PsychoTeaand Siguza. Meridian compatible with iOS 10 - iOS 10.3.3 firmware and any 64-bit device.
Meridian can be installed using TaigOne. Jailbreak not required to install TaigOne. Install TaigOne and install Meridian jailbreak using TaigOne.
Houdini semi jailbreak was developed by Abraham Masri. It supports iOS 10 - iOS 10.3.2 running 64-bit devices.
So Houdini semi jailbreak adds support iOS 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.1, and iOS 10.3 versions.

Apple unexpectedly releases iOS 10.3.4. This version has come for old iPhone and iPad devices not compatible with the latest iOS version.
