HiLately I sorted out my projects and connected running versions of models to the GitHub platform. This allows me to share developed staff with others for testing. Most of models are still in the private domain as they are still in the early stage of development, but some of them are available in the public domain. You can find it here: =repositoriesYou can look at my repositories and see what is currently in the public domain, but also you can download models and test it! (use Clone or download green button). From time to time I will add new models there. If you create GitHub account, you can also cooperate with me to submit comments and issues, or develop these models yourself. One note: it is the platform for developers, so the models included there are Unfinished, they can have numerous errors that cause problems. I am dedicating this possibility to those who can deal with installing and testing models at their own risk (that's why I do not give instructions on how to use it )Enjoy itKrzysk
Looks amazing. One thing to do would be to publish a guide for newbies on how to install aircraft and sceneries etc. Some publishers provide a guide on how to install their stuff and others don't. Nothing worse than trying to figure out how to get things installed as the developer intended.
Downloading is simple: Download, unzip, and place the unzipped folder into the appropriate Aerofly aircraft folder. Be aware that the unzipped folder will have the Suffix -Master, which will need to be removed before the plane will appear correctly within Aerofly's aircraft selection screen.
Hmmmmmmm....... Essentially Ipacs created the Documents Aerofly folder specifically to store user created scenery, planes, and whatnot. That area is generally safe from deletion during updates, unlike the regular folders, that can be overwritten or are designed specifically for payware. (Orbx etc)
There is an option for an "extra_user_folder" in the Aerofly main config file that allows you to specify another folder similar to C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Aerofly FS 2 (For example "D:\Aerofly FS 2") You can then put your scenery into D:\Aerofly FS 2\scenery which is what this option is designed for, and possibly it would work with aircraft as well. (I've never tried it!)
EDIT: Note that the MCF is occasionally overwritten by Ipacs updates, in which case you would have to add your custom folder location again. This is probably not the most stable option of the three I listed!
Thanks for your input on this. As a user I don't want to put stuff on the C drive. Especially if its a non dedicated sim pc. Having to add symbolic links or moving Win docs folder is a bit much for many users. Aircraft repaints or models are not that big but scenery is another story. One for Ipacs to think about. AFS2 is a wonderful sim in many respects and it needs to be super user friendly in this case for it to grow.
To install the package you should drag and drop the S211 folder contained in the zip file to either the "addons/aircraft" or the "aircraft" subfolders of you Aerofly USER folder.By default your AFS2 user folder is the Documents folder - you can copy-paste this shortcut to get there.C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Aerofly FS 2You can download the S-211 for Aerofly FS2 by clicking HERE or from the FREEWARE section on the side bar.
The DG-100 of 1974 is the first sailplane manufactured by Glaser-Dirks, developed from the Akaflieg Darmstadt D-38, the Standard class sailplane was designed by Wilhelm Dirks. Some DG-101 sailplanes were constructed by ELAN in Slovenia and are designed with a "G" suffix.
SIAI Marchetti S-211 for Aerofly FS2 (Freeware) - UPDATE to version 1.05 -marchetti-s-211-for-aerofly-fs2.html A recent update to Aerofly FS2 broke the compatibility of the freeware SIAI-Marchetti S-211 model I released for free some time ago. Here is an updated version that should fix the issue. To IPACS credit, they are now sending an email to developers to which the provide an "early warning" of possible incompatibilities, and once you get used to read the .log file of the simulator, it is relatively easy to apply the required changes.
I wish I had more time to convert other planes to AFS2 - it is still far Beyond P3D or XP11 in some areas, but it is a respectable flight simulator on its own and it is still my go-to simulator whenever my friends want to try Virtual Reality at my place - performance is stellar, and even with the most complex Orbx sceneries it is super-smooth and provides a great sense of immersion.Anyway, change log is as follows:Version 1.0520/06/2019- Changed tmd code for compatibility with latest version of Aerofly FS2
-c152-freeware/&postID=80083#post80083Hello dear Aerofly fans,I am aware that Just Flight will release a C152 soon and I'm sure it will be great.I have also been working on a C152 project for the last five month. It' certainly not as good as the Just Flight version will be but here it is.This is my very first aircraft ever. Please be indulgent with my errors.I hope you will enjoy flying it while you wait for the "full fat" version. -

I would also think it would be cool to have more variants of the A320 and a B737-800 hahaah, but if they don't send them I understand since the simulator is already very complete in terms of aircraft.
I think it is not very realistic to ask for more planes. What this flightsim lacks is the feeling of being there. So I hope IPACS will focus on things like moving traffic, v-speed callouts, cabin announcements, rumbling sound and vibrating panels during takeoff and touchdown and of course changing weather during time and contrails. Now it's boring once you reach cruise altitude. The good thing of AS4 is that it runs without stutters and the realistic landscapes when flying at altitude.
A few days ago I tried the other flightsim i have on my pc. Didn't use it for a while. It took ages to start, then an error caused another startup. After finals at destination it crashed. So I made the same flight with FS4. After setting up the flight AFS4 just did what it is supposed to do. Once some of the above mentioned improvements will be included it will be the ideal flightsim. For me at least.
Asking for more planes, well, let's leave that in charge of the developers, it would be very excellent for the wake to be in altitude, cruising, rain, clouds in real time, and things like that little by little.
Already the plane that is about to leave which is the Boeing 737Max9 they have not yet said anything about its departure, since I imagine that they were delayed by the door problem Already the plane that is about to leave which is the Boeing 737Max9 they have not yet said anything about its departure, since I imagine that they were delayed by the problem of the emergency door. ? But what I do ask of Jet-Pack (IPACS) es que cuando lancen el Max 9 venga con la Librea de Copa Airlines.
Be aware, these planes are in various stages of completion, from rough alpha to beta, and he has hosted them to github for users to try while he continues to work on them. Updates can be as often as every few hours, so be sure to check back often for the latest version!
