My shortcut icon stopped working a couple months ago. The only way I can access dropbox is through windows explorer. I'm running windows 10. I have uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times, restarted my pc multiple times. I've tried single and double clicking, right clicking, running as administrator. By the way, the software opens just fine on my phone. Suggestions?

Hi @PRQ! To recretate the Dropbox shortcut in your taskbar, please click on the small Dropbox icon in your system tray, go to your initials/profile picture > Preferences > Account tab. When you're at the Account tab, press alt + h on your keyboard, and click the "Create desktop shortcut" button.
I don't see those things in that area. BTW, I neglected to mention that I have two accounts (business and personal). I can't imagine that would make any difference, but thought I'd mention it. AND, the dropbox icon didn't disappear from my taskbar, it just stopped working. See attached picture.
My colleague showed me on her Outlook Calendar on desktop app (not New Outlook) that the Working Hours and Locations icons are now showing in her Calendar and Scheduling Assistant, but I cannot see the icons in my Calendar, though they have been set up in OWA and also show in Teams. We checked all our settings, addins, version number etc. and everything is identical. She has been able to see the icons since January. I've looked at online resources which all reference to New Outlook or OWA but not the Desktop application. Updates are run every 3-4 weeks so everything is up to date.
My Outlook version is slightly different from yours. However, the work hours and location (WHL) icons are not displayed on my Outlook desktop. They are only visible in the New Outlook and web versions, the same as you.
Based on the roadmap details, Microsoft started rolling out WHL enhancements for New Outlook and Web versions in March 2024. I suspect the functionality was removed from the classic app, but I have not seen any supporting documentation.
Well some good news! This morning I returned from holiday and an Office update to find that Working Locations are now showing on my Outlook desktop client in the Scheduling Assistant and in the Calendar. There doesn't seem to be any reference to this as a feature update on the Release Notes though. Anyways, am I being weird for saying how happy I was to see this? I don't think I've been this happy to see a feature change for quite some time! Now, I REALLY don't want to be moving to the new Outlook desktop.
I am glad that you are happy about the WLH feature. I don't believe Classic Outlook users have all the wonderful features that WHL has to offer. After my investigation, I will clarify the following questions. Also, it could be that I don't have the updates in classic yet. Nevertheless, here is what I understand.
Great news! A Microsoft Outlook engineer has confirmed that Classic Outlook will soon support the full functionality of WHL. Currently, the WHL icon is only viewable on the calendar and can be managed in New Outlook or the web. However, the ability to manage WHL in Classic Outlook is on the horizon. No rollout dates have been provided yet.
Additionally, I'd like to mention that I have a video playlist available to jump-start your learning should you wish to explore New Outlook. It's true that several features from Classic Outlook are not present, but New Outlook offers a range of features that are not found in the Classic version.
I created a Windows Korean account and launched the app on a PC where the Asana app worked fine, the app no longer worked.
I created a Windows English account and launched the app on the PC where the Asana app was not working, the app worked fine.
Hi @SoftOmlette, thanks for reaching out and sharing this information! In order to investigate this further, I recommend you to reach out to our support team so we can try to reproduce this issue in Korean.
I found a temporary solution to this.
The cause of this is that the Asana installation path contains non-English characters, so move the installation folder from
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Asana
(This is the same as C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Asana)
Move that folder to a path that is in pure English, like C:\Asana.
We have a server with Remote Desktop enabled, but we can only access the server from inside the LAN. Port forwarding on port 3389 is set up on the gateway/modem (Comcast SMCD3G) and canyouseeme.org says the port is open, but when I try connect with the WAN ip it says "Remote desktop cannot access the specified computer". The only thing between the server and the Gateway is a Netgear ProSafe GS716T, but I do not see any settings that would interfere with remote desktop, so I am at a loss as to why its not working.
Some Windows OS's (SBS 08 R2 at least) by default deny RDP packets from networks other then the LAN. Check the server firewall settings:
Administrative Tools, Windows Firewall w/ Advanced Settings, Inbound. If it's a problem then and you can't edit the rule or it comes back then it's probably coming from a Group Policy that needs to be changed.
On a server with Group Policy Management installed, run GP Results Wizard, select the Server computer, Computer Settings only. In the results window, Settings tab, click Show All to see what settings are being applied and what policy they come from. In particular look at policies effecting RDP.
-Backup the policy
-Edit the policy.
-On the server run: "GPUpdate /force"
-Test RDP remotely
The setting is under:Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Network/Network Connections/Windows Firewall/Domain Profiles > "Windows Firewall: Allow inbound Remote Desktop exceptions"
An entry of "" would allow RDP from any remote subnet.
In the past I've only used R, but I want to use RStudio to teach an intro stats course. However, I'm having trouble getting certain basic commands to work properly in RStudio, even though they work fine in R. For example, I have a folder on my desktop named "Folder."
I can create a new folder in my username folder as the directory, along with any folder within that new folder. But any time I use the desktop (or any other pre-existing folder in my username folder, like "Downloads" or "Documents") within the middle of a working directory path, RStudio reverts to the username folder.

I'm having the same issue with a button that's supposed to lead to my contact page. It works totally fine on desktop, but when I try to click on it on mobile, nothing happens. It only works if I press and hold, then click "Open in New Tab."
I know you mentioned sending the code block to behind the form block but I'm not very code-savvy. Can you walk me through how you did this?
Edit: Nevermind - I refreshed the page a couple times and now it magically works!
I am having a similar issue. My site's connect form on mobile is not clickable. It works perfectly on desktop. When you click on the form fields (name, email, message), nothing happens. This happens on each browser I tried (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). I contacted Squarespace help center and they said they can't replicate the issue so they can't help. However, all the people I've asked to test the site on mobile have the same issue with the fields. Not sure why the help center doesn't have the same problem. Any thoughts on what to do to fix this?
My computer (running Windows 11) was working fine last week. This Monday with no changes that I have made, my desktop all-in-one can no longer recognize an external microphone. I have a USB webcam with embedded microphone and my computer can find and utilize the camera, but it cannot find/utilize the microphone. I have tried resetting the sound, I have given the apps permission to use the microphone, I have restarted my computer multiple times, and still nothing. I thought it might be that the microphone in the webcam had died, but I have the same problem when I connect my airpods - I can hear sound in the headphones but it will not recognize the microphone that is in the headphones. The computer for the most part recognizes and utilizes the built in microphone in the computer (it didn't this morning and I had to use a tablet for my work videoconferencing), so I have no idea what is going on. I've tried different USB ports for my external webcam/microphone and it doesn't help. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the webcam/airpods and it doesn't help. I've reset the settings on my web browser and it doesn't work. I rely on a microphone for my work, so this is becoming quite a problem and preventing me from doing my work.
