The Dolle Lugano modular staircase kit is the perfect option for a space saving staircase in any loft, office, or bedroom. The Lugano modular staircase offers a contemporary Scandinavian design that is flexible for any tight space.
The Lugano comes with a paddle tread design to optimize space requirements and allow for multiple layouts including straight flights or with a quarter turn. 11 total treads are included, constructed of multiplex beech wood with a scratch resistant varnish.
This kit includes one full side of railing comprised of a PVC handrail, powder coated steel balusters, and PVC infill. The Lugano is adjustable and will accommodate any floor to floor height between 87-3/8 and 108-5/8 inches. This all in one kit contains all parts needed for complete assembly and can be installed with basic tools in one to two days.
The space-saving BOSTON staircase is the safe way to access all that extra space upstairs. The staircase is available as a straight flight or quarter-turn in several designs with between 11 and 13 treads (FSC-certified). Choose a configuration to match your needs and interior design. The handrail matches the solid-wood treads for a nice balanced design. Both the handrail and fillings can be shortened depending on the number of treads, the rise interval and the choice of staircase format. Each tread has an adjustable rise of between 19 and 25 cm. Maximum floor-to-floor height: 350 cm. A straight flight staircase has a longer banister than a quarter-turn staircase as it reaches all the way from landing to the bottom tread. Everything is included, together with the support pole. BOSTON is designed with an outside banister and balusters fitted to two treads each to maximise comfort and stability. Varnished treads, powder-coated steel structural elements, a handrail made of solid wood and stainless-steel fillings all add up to a strong and durable staircase.
In our Dimensions you will find precise measurements of the staircase and explanation of staircase terminology. Be aware this staircase is designed for rooms with a deck thickness of min. 20 cm. (rise + 2 cm).

ASTA fast steel stairs are a universal solution for both indoor and outdoor use as all elements are subject to hot dip galvanization and/or powder coating. These processes ensure that our house DIY staircase system will not only resist corrosion but also serve for many years as an access in private main buildings, garages, outbuildings, cellars, lofts or technical and service buildings.
ASTA stairs are much lighter than reinforced concrete stairs and stiffener than wooden structures. The production is much quicker and less problematic. By using ex-stock elements, the realisation time is up to three weeks from the order placement.
Additionally ASTA stairs are one of not many available on the market stairs with regulated steps height. The number of well thought solutions allow creating a suitable structure within a short period. The corrosion protection makes ASTA a product, perfectly working in every usage conditions.
This type of stairs must be designed and constructed at the shell stage. In addition, they require the availability of a large space. It is also more difficult to create a more complicated shape. The permanent connection of structure to the building makes any design changes more demanding and basing on new engineering calculations and new project.
The main advantage of the industrial spiral staircases is the possibility to maximise the available space in rooms with limited space. They find their application e.g. in logistics, storage or production halls.

Determining the location of the first step at the bottom:
1) From the height [H] determine the required number of steps.
2) Select the radius of the stairs [R].
3) Read the degree value [x].
4) Draw as shown in the diagram,
starting from the upper landing [A].
We have been working with steel for years and only use high quality materials, which ensures the durability and resistance of our products. In addition, our steel stairs (both straight and spiral stairs) are hot-dip galvanised. This provides permanent protection against corrosion, which guarantees the possibility of using the system both as external stairs and internal ones.
