I'm a huge fan of the background eraser in the photo editor. I like to apply an offset shadow to products when I'm placing them a new images after erasing their background. Sometimes the shadow feature just disappears so I can't add a shadow to the image that I've just erased the background on. It seems completely random and I can't figure it out. Has this happened to anybody else? How do you get it back?
So I have been needing to use the photoshop app for a while but all of a sudden it will not open. it says it is loading, but just stops loading after about 20 seconds. I have used it before and am on windows 10. I have tried some of the basic fixes ( opening task mangager and closing backround adobe, clearing prefrences, restarting my computer ect.). could someone help me so I can go back to using it?
Easy print photo editor cannot find the printer if you are connected through a router or network. If you connect the printer with a cable directly to the computer, it will work just fine. I don't have a Wi-Fi connection on my old tower computer and can't address that connection.

When making a new listing on desk top. directly on the eBay platform. You can whiten the background but after saving go to crop the photo down to highlight product the button shows crop outline. However it in not adjustable and does not work.
Same Problem here. I upload high res photos from my phone and I can only crop a sliver of the image. It acts like I have low res photos. Some have worked ok but now all the images I took last night I cannot crop the way I would like. Please fix.
I use Google Photos to host (free & secure "https") all my images. If you do all your edits (cropping / color / brightness / contrast) in google photos, way more control and editing capabilities, then you can copy the URL on that image and paste it into the E-Bay listing tool. This will keep the original size so when you see an image on E-Bay and hover over it or click on it, then it will show the larger size image. I haven't had much success using the E-Bay photo edit tool.
Shotwell has a single photo view that allows you to do most if not all of what you're asking. Shotwell, of course, has the advantage that it's included by default in modern Ubuntu so there's nothing to install.

I havent been able to use flickr photo editor for quite some time now, i keep getting the error message saying it isnt working at the moment and to try again. is this a known problem?

In fact, I strongly suggest NEVER ENABLE THIS FEATURE and add a custom watermark yourself at the end of your photo edits unless you are better than the best professional who would never make this mistake knowing all the steps who will follow. I made a table to be able to put more photos
When I edit a photo I always follow the same steps, follow the guide and you will have good results too. At each step, I will tell you in which part of the editor I did this or that maneuver:
Step 1 the horizon : when editing a photo is to make sure that the horizon or the buildings are straight and despite all my experience, this is rarely the case. If you had set the automatic watermark, it will rotate when you reposition the photo. (Note that by using the grid you can easily avoid making this mistake but it won't be enough to keep the auto watermark).
Step 1 : Put my horizon line straight with the rotation slider ( #8 ) You will notice that if you rotate to put the horizon line straight, part of your photo will be cropped automatically. To crop to make it perfect, use the corners and drag one of the corners to adjust the photo.
As you can see in this photo, the horizon line, although it seems perfect, does not match the buildings that are in front and to correct this false impression, I had to make a slight rotation in order to improve the 2 visual lines .
A horizon is rarely straight despite our best efforts. If you looked closely my horizon was straight but not the horizon line of the houses which I preferred to correct and if you looked closely I completely lost the watermark of the photo and that's why I don't advise to put it at the end.
True professionals crop 99% of their photos, erasing the watermark or cutting it in half. In fact, few manage to frame the subject perfectly, and all true professionals give themselves some leeway to easily reframe it. For this reason, it is advisable to take the photo with a very good sensor allowing cropping: the 48, 50, 108 and 200MP sensors are perfect to help you do this kind of editing because they contain a maximum of photo information and allow cropping without loss of quality. ( It all depends on the crop of course.
There are several ways to edit your photo and no one has to start in the following order, either start with Tones, filters or color mixing. But I strongly advise you to improve the sharpness and definition of the image that you will find in ( #12). Then, it's up to you to choose which section you want to start in.
In this last part, I did it on purpose to make the task difficult by deliberately cutting out part of the photo in order to make you understand that it is possible to edit only one part of the photo, to rework it from independently and stick it back together using the Photo Montage. A photo editor is like a camera: you have to know it well in order to appreciate it at its fair value.
