(Apologies if you re-signed our 2008 mailing list today at got this twice. I will write a different spicy email just in case...)
SO. You guys signed our mailing list dealios from past slams and last year's OPERS festival. This is Elaine from KPP here to tell you that WE ARE BACK. Praise his name, we're fucking back, and we couldn't be more pleased for this year.
Two things you need to know:
1. Our first slam is Thursday, October 9th. Want to read? It's open to everyone. Come sign up at 8:30, or just come watch the show at 9 PM.
It goes down at Cafe Revolucion @ College 10.
Kat Dietrich and Chris Bundy (dynamic San Jo duo) are featuring!
2. We're meeting this Sunday (the 28th) at 11 AM at Firefly Cafe on Front Street. Want to volunteer for KPP? (I mean, that's all we do. Jeez.) Come check out the meeting.. after you attend two, you officially have voting power.
Neat-o, everyone. I can't wait to see youze at our shit. I mean, we can't wait to enjoy a really great year with y'all. Stay tuned for workshops, a special pre-Halloween open mic, and goodies and oodles of words! Go team.
