THE SECOND (!!!!!!!!!!) Poetry Slam of Fall Quarter, featuring ANDREW LOWE (Andrew Lowe-rider, UCSC Alum)!
We have moved this week!
Our second slam of the year is upon us and this week it is at THE BARN THEATRE, located at the very base of campus at the intersections of Bay and High streets.
HAVE NO FEAR the short little bus ride down from campus or up from town will be way worth it.
Our feature is UCSC alum ANDREW LOWE. He's got stories, messages and perspective you will not want to miss. As a former ADULT nationals slam team member (Berkeley) and former UCSC slam team member, Andrew Lowe has power and presence that will surely make you contemplate your own existence.

3-5$ sliding scale donations, no one turned away

Friendly reminder: we love volunteers. Our meetings are on a rotating schedule to accommodate everyone's school and work weirdness.
Friendly reminder #2: We put on a festival in February. Sign up for the biweekly slams and if you place 1st or 2nd, you are qualified for Semifinals for the Festival Slam to determine our National Collegiate Poetry Slam Team of 2009!
