I'm using teamviewer 12, connecting from windows 10 machine to a windows 7 machine. And I'm having a problem with the context menu's as well as menus that should appear from the menu bar (File.. Edit.. View.. Build etc)
These menus are simply invisible. When I rightclick on a visual studio 2015 project there appears to be a context menu and I can click on items, I just can't see what I'm clicking on as those items are 100% invisible.
this is not an answer, but just a series of considerations. I've the same graphic card Gtx 1060 and I've set it to perform at top level, rendering GPU at best. Without a connected monitor, GPU simply stops to processing data. Your client have a connected and power on monitor?
Just one,
I will see later if the processor graphics of i7 4790k (Intel HD Graphics 4600 ) is installed and running. But is Belive it is impossible, else have the driver i will pass to you the driver information.
Connecting from a windows 10 machine to a windows 7 machine, both have discrete video cards and no integrated graphics (both machines have an I7 5820K which doesn't have integrated graphics, both machines have up-to-date nvidia drivers)
If I install greenshot or lightshot (screenshot software) on the machine I am remoting to, and create a screenshot after pressing a button, the menu is suddenly visible in the screenshot itself, when canceling this screenshot overlay the menu is gone again as well. but that's no way to work obviously
I am having this problem, and the suggested solution (don't let your monitors go into power-save mode, but force them to be on all the time) doesn't apply to me. I am sitting right now with my laptop beside me, and it is connected via TeamViewer to this desktop computer. I see the same desktop on both machines. From my laptop I can right-click on this desktop's Start button and see the menu on both computers. When I right-click on the application icon immediately next to the Start button (in my case, it's Outlook), I CAN NOT see the menu on my laptop, but I DO see the menu on my desktop.
The same goes for Visual Studio menus .. when I click on a menu on my laptop, I don't see it there but I do see it on my desktop.
Obviously, the suggested solution doesn't apply here as both monitors are fully active.
This has been a problem for quite some time, and I suspect it has something to do with Aero or rendering. Unfortunately, I can't turn Aero off on the desktop as it's been locked down by the IT department. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? TeamViewer is pretty much useless if I can't use Visual Studio with it.
If you think that the issue is related to alpha blending or using Aero, you do not need to physically disable it from the client, but it's enough to instruct TeamViewer for ignoring this piece of rendering: Option -> Advanced:
Do this:
When connected to remote computer click "View" on the TeamViewer menu.
Then click "Select Single Window" to the right and click anywhere in VS.
You should see a blue border around VS now.
HTTP 408 falls into the category of client errors. The status code communicates that the server did not receive a timely response from the client and that the server timed out waiting for the request. This can happen if the client takes too long to send the request or the server is too busy to process it.
The 408 Request Timeout error means the request you sent to the website server took longer than the server was prepared to wait. It can happen due to heavy traffic on the internet or a slow connection on your side.
The first thing you should do before troubleshooting the HTTP 408 error is back up your website. Then, if anything goes wrong while trying to fix the issue, you will have a full, updated version of your files and database to restore.
There are several methods you can use to back up your site. One is the manual approach. This method involves using a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client, such as FileZilla. After receiving your SFTP credentials from your host and connecting to the server, you can download your files from the root directory (public_html folder).
You can also use a backup plugin such as UpdraftPlus. After installing and activating the plugin, navigate to Settings > UpdraftPlus Backups in your WordPress dashboard, then click on Backup Now:
You can create up to five manual backups, which are automatically stored for two weeks. We also offer DevKinsta, a free local WordPress development tool you can use for staging and backing up your site to a local environment.
You can do this by going to DevKinsta and selecting the Import from Kinsta option. You may need to verify your hosting credentials. Once you choose your site, DevKinsta handles the rest.
Pay close attention to the domain name, especially if there are slashes or hyphens. Try re-entering the URL and then reloading the page. If the timeout request error is still present, you can move on to the next solution.
Recently installed extensions or updates to your database may have altered database records that are causing problems. To see if this is the case, we recommend opening your database (phpMyAdmin) and manually going through to check any tables or records that have been recently modified. If you find any, revert them to their original states.
Adding extensions and plugins to your site can cause various incompatibility issues and errors, including the HTTP 408 status code. One of the easiest ways to see whether this is the case is to deactivate all of the plugins on your site.
If you have access to your WordPress dashboard, you can do this by navigating to Plugins from the admin area, selecting all of the installed plugins, then selecting Deactivate from the Bulk actions dropdown menu. Now click on Apply:
Using an APM tool can help you debug your site by giving insight into its performance and the location of any bottlenecks. This information can help you identify and fix any issues causing your website to run slowly or have other performance problems.
As we discussed in this post, the source of the issue may be either client- or server-side. To troubleshoot and resolve the status code error, you should review and roll back recent changes, check your server configuration file and application logs, and debug your apps and scripts.
Do you want to switch to hosting that provides easy access to software for identifying, testing, and fixing issues on your site? Check out our Kinsta hosting plans to learn more about our APM and development tools!
Both times inside luna daily instance. Both times pop up message " unknown error", client shuts down immediately. Both times I was logging into a 2nd client which I believe caused the first client to crash.
before you included this piece of... software, i havent any problems with playing aion, but currently? when i start launcher, tick "play" - aion splash screen appear for several seconds, and then just be gone, and thats all.. (aion.bin popup for 3 seconds in task manager, and close itself)
i have several times sucessfully started aion with this xigncode3, it looks like any random error, i tried client repair - nothing happened, i have already paused eset protection and firewall, no change, im not using any VPN or other services, i am connected directly into internet through Mikrotik router.
AT LAST configure this your launcher to NOT minimalise, because is really annoying after every error like this type password again and again OR add ability to use BAT file to start launcher with name and password.. Gameforge uses SAME launcher, and if you tick PLAY, launcher remain as is, and if you shut down game, you can directly start it again, because there is still play button.. currently i must 10 or 20 times again and again type password until i am able to finally play, because in 19 times out of 20 just only aion.bin splash screen appear, and close itself without anything.. this is rly most idiotic feature EVER..
working in the IT field I did NOT have in game errors after the maint and addition of the anti decompiler XINGCODE3, however I am an event viewer surfer and multiple windows event errors became evident soon after I launched the game after XIGNCODE was introduced in the past 2 weeks.
The Fall Creator's update did make internal OS changes when deploying new Windows Defender Exploit protection features. The Windows 10 OS literally choking out trying to do what windows do and resolve in background, degrading game stability and performance to a glacial FPS of 2-5. immediately I checked event viewer that what a tech do.
manually removing the XINGCODE3 using unistaller on the
wellbia.com site, uninstalling the game launcher application and re installing seemed to eliminate all event viewer references. I tested for quite a few hours yesterday so far no event viewer errors overall my FPS was average in the 70's after this last clean install yesterday it is improved from 5FPS to mid 20's imo is glacial paced to say the least, and not very enjoyable for even the casual pve player.
