Kindle best selling gadget (selling in Amazon) in US and UK

It is perhaps not surprising that Kindle is Amazon's best selling product given the prominence given to it on the website - featured in the home page and with many a link pointing to Purchase a Kindle page
The artice also has another of the classic Amazon info nuggets on how well Kindle is selling, "On Christmas Day, more people activated new Kindles, downloaded Kindle applications and bought ebooks than on any previous day." Since we have no idea they most bought on a previous day, we continue clueless on the quantitative front.
