Kindle 3, few questions..Please help.

Got our kindle 3G+Wifi in 3 business days. Great speed..!!
I had directly booked kindle from Amazon on 3rd of Feb. I have
received it on 7th Feb at 4:00 pm.

Packaging was good from DHL and Amazon. It is a great device.
I have two questions though:

1) Would Amazon be re-imbursing the export deposit (60$) back to me?

2) The kindle screen flickers everytime a key on the keypad is pressed…
Is this an problem OR is this the way the device works..?

Dear Dilip ,

Answering the 2nd question . I bought my kindle from Shopyourworld.com but am not facing the problem regarding the key issue.
So, i think u should writwe them ur problem directly to their official customer readdressal mail address.

Hi Dilip,

Also answering the 2nd question. If there is still a problem after trying the reset suggest you contact Amazon Support. I also had / have a problem and had communicated a problem on their Kindle support page.

This is the response I got. It suggests you leave your phone no on their website and they'll call us back.

Hi Dilip,
Congrats on the new purchase.

I have one doubt whether the flickering is really a problem.
Because kindle device uses e-ink, and in this whenever you turn to say a new page. or go back to home etc, there will be a flicker.
I suggest you watch some video from youtube to make sure that your device is behaving in the same way.
