Hello,

These are from western Victoria, near Naracoorte.

I'm thinking they are low Chalinolobus gouldii? they are quite low though...

I notice your low pulse are in pairs and close together. They look like some sort of social calls, maybe even songs. It looks like you have a couple of genuine CHGO in the 06-22-03 file.

Your files look awfully clean! Were they made in Kaleidoscope using the Advanced Signal Enhancement option? This can do a fine job of getting high quality calls out of marginal signals, but it typically has the down side of murdering the ZC signal by getting rid of lots of useful contextual information. It looks nice, you might say, but isn't near as useful in ZC as if you turn the option off.

Cheers, Chris.

Hello, thank you!

There are definitely CHGO in the data set, which made me think originally that they might be the social calls of the species based on something that had been posted here before but wasn't 100% sure.

Oh, I just realized that when restarting Kaleidoscope the advanced signal enhancement option sets back to on, bum!  I normally don't like it on cause you can't see what is going on.

Thanks!
