Good Evening KILO!
I will be your Flt/CC for LLAB 30! I'm pumped up and you should be to! This email is pretty long, but be sure to read all of it since I will need you to act accordingly.
Attached are the Transportation List, Ops Orders for LLAB 30, and our KILO Seal. If any cadet has an issue with the transportation list or will not be attending LLAB 30 please contact myself or our Flt/CD, C/Thomas NLT Wednesday at 2200.
WS
There will be no WS this week. However, standby on a possible Flight Social opportunity.
LLAB 30 (CDI)
I expect our flight to be at the flagpole NLT 1410. This will give us ample time to take attendance and make any needed adjustments. All cadets who do not have their ABUs will be wearing full PTUs. Seeing how it may be sunny, you may also want to be wearing plenty of sun block.
As you all should know, C/Capt Montejo has set a suspense of NLT Wednesday at 2330 for us to fill out the Google Doc for the Grog Bowl. However, I expect KILO flight to have this suspense met NLT Wednesday at 1800. Be sure to meet this suspense or you will be hearing from me. Remember we are a flight. Should one of us fail, we all fail, so be sure to check with your wingman and make sure that they have met the suspense!
Quiz
There will be no quiz this week. Be sure to brush up on you Warriors Knowledge. Remember, next semester we will be AS 200s, so knowing the material now can only us in the very near future.
Flight Positions
Flt/AO- C/Hwang, you will be LLAB 30's Flt/AO. I expect you to make sure that every cadet know the FULL Air Force Song so that we may finish off this LLAB strong. Also make sure to send any information on what is Grog Bowl, Queen's English, and ideas for skits to our flight in your email to the flight. I will collaborate with you to dig up some information on these things.
Flt/CD- Contact me if there is any issue with the transportation list or if any cadet will not be attending LLAB 30. I expect you to know the Transportation List confidently as well as take attendance before and after transiting. Basically, your main duty is to be accountable of the flight and update me on the status of our flight. Update me NLT Wednesday at 2300.
Flt/FSO- Check for laces and make sure that everyone is hydrating. Work together with the Flt/Supply cadet, C/Navas, in order to ensure that you have everything to keep our flight healthy and sharp.
Flt/Supply- Make sure that the water buffalos are ready for use if needed. Work together with the Flt/FSO and be sure that you have everything need. Also, remind cadets to bring their FULL PTUs if they do not have their ABUs.
Flt/PFO- Stretch out our flight when needed. I have something in mind for our flight to do before LLAB 30 in order to replace WS. Standby for further information.
Flt/ Stando- MAKE SURE OUR FLIGHT IS STANDARDIZED. Send out an email NLT Wednesday at 2200 detailing how you would like our flight to be standardized. I suggest that you send out the guide for standardization, which was sent out a few LLABs ago. Make sure that everything is standardized, down to the last pen. I have given you 10 extra minutes before LLAB in order to standardized our flight. If one cadet is not standardized then both you and I fail and will be counseled. I know you can do this. HUA!
Guidon- If you need practice contact me and I will help you out sometime during the week.
Element Leaders- Remember to greet POCs, NCOs, and Cadre when a column of files is executed! Other then that, just know you drill.
Final Words
So the deal with our seal is that I was instructed to go with a more professional look and this is what I have so far. I hope that you all find it pretty awesome. Also, with no WS taking place, I find this as the perfect time for our flight to hold a social since most of our fight will be there. Along the same lines, with this free time I expect more cadets to come out for IMTLS which will take place from 1015 to 1100. Again, remember that we will be 200s next semester, preparing for field training and helping the 100s and 250s in their pursuit of a career in the USAF. Lastly, our flight is expected to perform at our best, maintain professionalism as well as customs and courtesies, have PERECT standardization, bring motivation, bond with our fellow cadets, and most importantly have fun! This is our second to last LLAB, so make every moment of it count. I know you all will make me and our Flight Commander, C/Capt Cruz, proud to be whales. Finish Strong.
EMAIL ME NLT TUESDAY AT 2000 TO VERIFY THAT YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THE CONTENTS OF THIS EMAIL!
Thank You,
