Understand how to use kill bill java api

Hi,

I wanted to use kill-bill java api for my payments system. I already have kill bill server installed. Below are my requirements.

1) User will buy some quantity of sms/email messages credits with each sms/email costing approx 1.5 INR and have to record these things in kill bill with payment details.

2) Once user have sms/email credits system can send the sms/email and deducting credits at the same time. 

Please let me know how to implement my requirement with kill-bill. I am confused with lot many things.

Hi Vipul,

Kill Bill is essentially a billing system and not a metering system. So as per my understanding of your requirements, you can look into Usage Billing. You can also add credits to the account equivalent to the credits that the user purchases and then record the usage in Kill Bill using Api. However, Kill Bill cannot record the usage of emails/sms on its own or restrict the use as such.
