Hi Eric,

My company is in the process of evaluating migration/new implementation of our recurring billing system.  I was wondering if anyone has had success integrating KillBill with any CRM? I'm specifically looking for any previous integrations with Salesforce.

I have integrated similar systems (although not Kill Bill) with Salesforce/force.com in the past, and if you are looking to mirror data between the two systems, this should be easy.

If you need to push data from Kill Bill to Salesforce, you can listen to events from Kill Bill and react to them (for example, when an account is created, you can propagate that creation into Salesforce and link both accounts with a custom field, either in Kill Bill and/or in Salesforce).
If you need to pull data from Salesforce into Kill Bill, we provide sdks to let you create objects via HTTP APIs.

If you can provide us with more details on your workflow, we can guide you in the implementation.

Cheers,

We already provide payment processing through Litle, so KillBill seems to fit (at least partially) what we presently do.

Litle was indeed one of the first gateways we integrated with, and has been running in production for a few years. It also looks like our multi-tenancy feature matches your current solution, where each one of your clients has its own tenant with its own subscriptions, and your business has a separate tenant, to manage the subscriptions of the businesses.

From what I've read, this seems feasible.

At a very high level, it looks reasonable indeed. One thought though is that there are currently some limitations around the catalog management in multi-tenant setups, but the current development cycle (version 0.13.x) is targeted at fixing this gap.

I'm happy to jump on a call if you want to dig more into specifics.

I set up a heroku instance of KillBill, but I haven't completed setting up KAUI. I need to do that so that I can get a better visual understand of the processes.

Also, if you want to know more about the capabilities of Kill Bill, you can take a look at our API exploration tool on the website: http://killbill.io/api/

Hope that helps,

Eric,

I also wanted to point out that we already have an integration with CRM-like solution on Kill Bill. We did integrate in the past with zendesk-- you can find the plugin here: https://github.com/killbill/killbill-zendesk-plugin. That should give you an idea on how to write a CRM plugin on top of Kill Bill.

Hope that helps,

Stéphane
