kpm install a java plugin and manually trigger apache felix to deploy the OSGI plugin

Hi All,

As I have difficulties in making "killbill-kpm" ruby plugin work properly in my environment. Here is what I thinking -> After I've bootstrapped my killbill server, would it be possible if I could manually install my java plugin via `kpm install_java_plugin ...` and then trigger Apache Felix to deploy the OSGi plugin and start it? Is there a easy way existing in killbill to do this?

Hi Marc,

You can absolutely install it manually through the kpm CLI. You then just need to restart Kill Bill or use our plugin management APIs to start the plugin (http://docs.killbill.io/latest/plugin_management.html).

Hi Pierre,

I think the plugin management APIs relies on killbill-kpm plugin right? I have difficulties in starting it properly.

So without the killbill-kpm plugin properly started, I guess we have to restart killbill server after `kpm install ...` in order to get out plugins started, right?

Only install and uninstall operations require the KPM plugin.
