If I knew that you are looking for people outside of Dublin for coordinator I would  also applied for this role. I was helping Ania & Asia before with good results. But I suppose that it is already too late, isn't it?

Dear Dharma Friends, 

Regarding the TT's Coordinator role - please be informed that nobody from Dublin offered to take over my duties. 

The only response I got was from Longina from Killarney. 

We discussed the above with people present at the Centre Meeting and we all agreed that Lonia is a suitable person. We are happy that she and Asia coordinate TTs for Eire.

Just a reminder on the Sunday DW Centre Meeting AGENDA. 

We will discuss the rules and responsibilities that are required to be fulfilled for our Centre's functioning. This is follow up on the last meting. 

These will include the rule of the Travelling Teachers Coordinator. 

As you might know by now, me, Gilberto and Leon are moving away from Ireland for at least few years. Therefore I have to (and I also feel it is time to) pass my part of the job to someone else. Asia will continue her job as the co-coordinator.  

Taking the opportunity I would like to thank everybody for their enthusiasm and patience in helping me to bring the best DW Teachers to Ireland. I enjoyed the job immensely! I could really experience what a joyful effort is and unending diligence as well. I have learned a lot in this 5 or more years of doing the job and I hope my work has brought some benefit.

I was really honored to be entrusted with this special task by you guys. Thank you. 

Me and Asia will give all necessary information to the new Coordinator once the person is chosen. 

In case you want to 'apply' for the job, here is some 'job description':

- ensuring that we follow Diamond Way style and work in accordance with Lama Ole Nydahl wishes (general and specific for Ireland)

- gathering request from all Sanghas around Ireland

- drafting the schedule for Ireland as a whole

- sending requests (twice a year, according to new timeline)

- booking (cheap) flights and making other travel arrangements

- travelling to TTs Coordinators meetings - main ones take place during EC Summer Course and in KG

- making sure that the TT is properly hosted and 'utilised'

- settling financial issues with groups

- informing people about the schedule and upcoming TTs events
