How to Lead Kabbalat Shabbat with Ira Kirschner

Mondays, Starting November 3 (No class Nov. 17) 7:30PM

Attention aspiring tefillah leaders! This five-session course will teach participants how to lead Kabbalat Shabbat at KI with traditional nusach and melodies. Participants will learn the history and meaning of Kabbalat Shabbat and add more meaning into leading this tefillah. At the end of the course, all participants will sign up to lead Kabbalat Shabbat at KI this year, with the help of the course and one-on-one work with the KI staff.

Please note that this class is intended for those who can already sing a prayer in Hebrew and read Hebrew well enough to use the siddur independently. Participation is expected at all sessions - please comment in the registration if you have a conflict. Register Here!
