I loose all but the first e-mail address in Contacts

I have more than 1 e-mail address for a contact in Google Contacts.
If I open my contact in Outlook, only the first e-mail address is
visible. If I make a change in any field and save the contact, since
only 1 e-mail address existed, I loose the rest of my e-mail addresses
in Google Contacts.

I found out the hard way after I had modified half of my address book
and now I have no way to recover all those addresses I lost. Not cool.
