Using Automatic Roll Paper CutterFor Windows users
For Macintosh users
The following describes how to print on the roll paper using the cutter. The steps from the printer driver settings to cutting are as follows.

Note:

Use the cutter after you attach it and adjust the cutting position. Refer to the Cutting position adjustment with Automatic Roll Paper Cutter for more details about the cutting position adjustment.

Auto Cut is selectable after the cutter is attached and Roll Paper is selected as the Paper Source setting.

If Auto Cut is not available even when Roll Paper is selected as the Paper Source, the Auto Cutter Attached setting has not been made in the printer driver. Refer to the Printer driver settings with Automatic Roll Paper Cutter and make the setting.

Make any other settings as necessary. Refer to the table below for details. When finished, click OK.

I am trying to work with Epson POS TM-82 printer on windows 7 (64 bit). I have installed the printer's driver. I have python 2.7.15 (64 bit) installed. To work with python I am using this package, python-escpos.

Tried digging around the Epson drivers themselves, and found that the Advance Printer Driver 5 displays the feature more prominently in the second tab, whilst in APD version 4, the buzzer is hidden under some settings. In both versions of the driver you can get them to work though, through a regular windows print job, however not from POS.

I could work my POS 80 printer with this driver. The weird thing is I can print but it is cutting from right side and there is really enough place on the paper. I can not see the right side of the my PDF. I selected already 80mm x 210 mm paper size but it is acting like 58 mm printer?
Is there any way to fix this?

Step 2: De-Installation steps: (If already installed incorrectly, these must be followed exactly in order)
1. Disconnect the printer completely from the PC
2. Uninstall All the Epson Software / Drivers on the PC
3. Now follow the below steps in "C. New Installation"
4. Only now, plug in the Epson Printer into the USB port again.

Step 3: New Installation steps: (These must be followed exactly in order)
1. Disconnect the printer completely from the PC
2. Insert CD provided and run the Driver Software ( .exe file) on the CD OR
3. Download the Driver from the internet: Epson T82 Driver link
4. Install Driver Software and set as default printer, save settings.
5. Do a test print, either form your POS Software, or from the printer driver.
6. Remember to check your cash drawer settings in the printer driver, if you are using a cash drawer.
