Just to say everyone. I'm new to magic. I'm a reasonably new clown (not
too frayed round the edges)! and am just introducing comedy magic to
my programme.Any tips on some good items for comedy/silly magic that
are easy to perform and get good laughs?

Hi Milton,

The 'Silly Wand' comes with loads of gags and is very funny in practice
- such a simple item but loads of laughs.

Silver Sceptre is available from Practical Magic and is an absolute
winner.

You could even replace sponge balls with 'clown nose' productions,
similar to Bill Abbott's 'Sponge Snack' routine - that is really funny
too.

All of these are really easy to perform with a full emphasis on the
clowning and fun rather than the 'magic'.
