'Flash' items, yes or no?

Just wondered what your thoughts are on the use of flash paper/powder
in different situations when performing magic for children.

As a rule,I would say "No" to any fire effects in front of kid's,however,

I do use flash paper in my "Magic lollipops" routine (Dove pan) and also

in the "Hot book" (Recipe book),I do however,warn the kids about the danger of playing with fire.......
