Bookings

Hi to all,

I hope that everyone had a good christmas and is about to have a very
lucrative 2009.
We have the opportunity to make this forum a very useful site where
the knowledge and the lessons learnt by all can be of use to those
facing the same issues, so therefore I would like to get the ball
rolling by asking everyone where do your bookings come from.

Personally the majority of mine come from my website, but I have had a
few from thompson local directory and have had one as a result of
leaving business cards on the counters of a party shop.

So come on where do yours come from?, do you do mailshots? what have
you found that works? and just as important what have you done that
doesn't? or what have you tried that cost you more money to do than
you received back from bookings?
