you dont need to spend a fortune to be a good entertainer

You dont need to spend £1000s of pounds to be an good entertainer it
might make stand out but the most important thing is to be
entertaining, a colouring book canbe a 15 minute routine, if you put
the work into the prop.

I have said for a while that I would write some routes that I have
used and have told a lot of people on the phone however this is a
great place to start writing them up.

What you need, a colouring book, a way to vanish silks so you could
uses a change bag, don’t know the name of what I used to use and break
away wand.

Induce the colouring book and by this point the kids should know your
magic word, tell them you have a magic tell them that there is a funny
thing about your magic word and every other, else is that mine always
works, let me show you, I have a colouring book here, and
unfortunately it doesn’t have any pictures (flick through showing that
its blank) you can see that the book is useless however, do you
remember the magic word (get the children to shout out the magic word)
flick through the book and you will see the colouring book now has
lines but isn’t coloured in.

Do you guys know any other magic words get the children to call some
out and repeat this action but when ever they call out a magic word it
makes the book go blank they call out your magic word it work everyone
else fails.

When you are ready to take the trick to the next level

We have a colouring book but we need to colour it in if we shout the
magic word lets see what happened the children call out the magic word
and the wand you wave breaks apart, and the colouring book still isn’t
coloured in, you explain that this is what happens when a magic wand
runs out of magic.

Introduce a art pallet that has 5 silks instead of paints call out the
colours of the silks, but miscall them the fun you can have here is
great.

Pick the wand back up (if you have the one we sell, I think its uday
you get the extra bit to add and remove to make it a normal/ breakaway
wand) and treat it as a normal wand again. Rub the tip on each colour
and continue to miss call the colours and touch the tip of the wand
against the colouring book then call the magic word, show the book but
there is no difference, repeat once more bore you introduce something
to vanish the silks in, as you remove the silks from pallet continue
to miss call them, once they have all been placed into the change bag/
any vanishing device get the children to say the magic word and show
the silks have vanished pick up the colouring book but unfortunately
again the book is not coloured in, look above the children’s head and
then point saying you see the red and green and blue…… they will look
up and see nothing.

Get them all to call the magic word out as you wave the magic wand
they do so and you show the colouring book is now fully coloured in.

I haven’t checked the spelling or the running but will edit at a later
date but this trick if you made yourself could cost as little as £25
but can be a quality routine.
