Hi,
Just thought I'd drop you a hello and thank you for your help and
support for getting me through my test in February. Big thanks to Roz
for her patience, I honestly thought I'd screwed up the moment I
started the test. I still didn't believe I'd passed even after the
ride back to Kickstart. I was waiting for someone to say "only joking"
but they never did.
I've got an old SV650, thats quick enough for me! Haven't bikes got
quicker in the 25 odd years that I'd given them up???
I still have a long way to go to build up my confidence, maybe
"mothers syndrome" has a lot to do with it now though.

Anyway, this was suppose to be a quick hello, so I'll sign off for
now. I'll keep checking back to keep up with events.

Take care
NFP

Hi

good to hear from you, and I will mention you to Roz next week.

The biggest difference in 25 years I think is tyres, they are so much
better than they used to be. As for the SV650 a good place to start
riding, it normally takes me a couple of months to really get to know
the limits of a bike, and be totally confident of what it will or more
importantly won't do. So enjoy the bike and just gently push it bit
harder as your confidence grows.

We are planning to start a Kickstart bike club, Nothing serious, just
easy fun rides out and a chance to be social.
Keep in touch or look in here from time to time and I will post up the
details, or drop by the office late one afternoon and say hello.

best wishes Peter
