An interesting diary from one of the MCN journos, though worth
pointing out that doing your test on a 125 Suzuki Van Van does not
equal a DAS course. DAS must be completed on a big bike (500cc), so we
use Suzuki GS500s or Honda CB500s.
The writer of this piece (when she finally does pass!), will be
restricted to a 33bhp machine for the first 2 years of her riding
career. This is referred to on our website as the A2 or restricted
license course. Currently the restriction lifts automatically without
the need to retest.
